WHAT THE NUMBERS MEAN

Battery use for offline work.

The Getac reference has 62.6864 Wh of nominal pack energy. Battery life per charge = usable energy (Wh) ÷ average input power (W). The software studies time calculation paths separately; the Getac specification supplies nominal battery capacity.

What the design aims to improve

Longer field operation on the same battery, or less battery weight for the same offline jobs and operating time.

THE APPLICATION

Rugged field computing

Field-computer manufacturers and mobile engineering teams

The aim is less repeated calculation and data handling for the same offline jobs: more field time, less battery weight or lower power drawn from a vehicle.

Offline engineering workbench · Controller-code verification · Measurement planning

The possible gain comes from repeated processing that uses a meaningful share of task energy, in a workflow that can run locally.
